TalentUp ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the TalentUp mobile application.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you register or sign in (with email, Apple, or Google), we receive your name and email address.
• Content You Upload: Videos, profile photos, and other content you choose to share on the platform.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: How you interact with the app, such as videos you watch, content you vote on, and features you use.
• Device Information: Device type and operating system version for technical support purposes.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the TalentUp platform
• Display your profile and content to other users
• Calculate and display leaderboard rankings based on community votes
• Process in-app purchases of credits
• Communicate with you about your account and the service
• Ensure platform safety and prevent misuse

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the platform (e.g., Supabase for database and storage)
• Authentication Providers: Apple and Google for sign-in services
• Payment Processors: Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchases
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety

Authentication

TalentUp supports email, Sign in with Apple, and Sign in with Google for authentication. Passwords are handled securely by our authentication provider and are never stored in plain text.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Your Rights

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data (available in-app)
• Withdraw consent at any time

Account & Data Deletion

TalentUp users can delete their account and all associated data (profile, uploaded videos, votes, and likes) at any time directly within the app:

• Open the TalentUp app and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Settings (Ayarlar).
• Tap Delete Account (Hesabı Sil) and confirm.

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, email, uploaded videos and photos, and all voting/like activity from our systems. This action is immediate and cannot be undone. If you are unable to access the app, you may also request deletion by emailing anlgzl52@gmail.com from your registered email address; such requests are processed within 30 days. We do not retain personal data after deletion except where required by law.

Children's Privacy

TalentUp is not directed to children. The app is intended for users aged 18 and over and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date.
